4.  If I had to dress in one color for the rest of my life I would pick   black. I think it's the easiets thing to accessories your way out of *laughs* I love colors and would probably do almost about everything to go about this rule :-p

5.  If you were to look in my bag right now you'd find  tampons, gum, hand cream, a figurine I have to fix for my mum, lipbalm, a blouse, a toothbrush, two sweet potates, two avocadoes and a jump suit :-p (yes really!),

6.  When I finish filling in the blanks I'm going to  clean up my bag obviously :-p

7.  My all time favorite song to dance to is hmm.. that's a hard one. I am really not a dancer and if I actually start dancing I'll dance to everything so I'll just leave this blank for now ;-) 

Bookish friday

1. The best thing I did all week made paper buntings and bookmarks for my book swap party next weekend.

2 Being great at what I do at my job makes me super happy.

3.  Pets are not allowed where I live right now which makes me sad.

4.  Generally being a happy person  is the best thing about my life.

5.  With the cooler weather I am looking forward to drinking tea and writing/receiving long letters from my penpals.

6.  Something that's on my "wish list" right now is a house ;-)

7.  This weekend I am going to  a bookfair.

Not so blank

It's friday and I decided to do some funky friday makeup (Joker go home). I also thought I'd throw in some blanks from The Little Things We Do.

My favorite color is  dark blue. Something like the square to the left.

2.  My travel destination of choice is Turkey. My boyfriend has never been there and I just loved it the two times I was there. Anywhere warm and sunny with a beach will do though.

3.  My favorite  food is salmon I think. It's great on sushi, on bread, cut in pieces and thrown over a salad. It's just amazing! Hm.. or maybe fresh peas. They're awesome too!

 

 

4.  My happy place is anywhere my family is.

5.  My favorite saying is "All you need is love".   

6.  My dirty little secret is that I like reading gossip but always tell others that it is beneath me to do so. Psst... did you know that Robert Pattinson was once asked by a fan to bite her baby?)

7.  Something friends might say about me is that I  am bossing around my fiancé. And that's probably true... :-p

1 The last movie I saw was The Punisher yesterday. That's a wacky movie. I was in the cinema a few days ago where I watched X-men Firstclass which I reviewed (in Danish) right here

2.  I want to  make the sun shine for my dads birthday tomorrow.

3.  Surprises are  awesome to recieve but even more awesome to make.

4.  The best accessory is handmade jewellery, 'cause you can make it just the style you want and they're great conversational pieces.

5.  My favorite warm drink is coffee

Vacation blanks

This weekend I'm  going to enjoy my self with the boyfriend.  We'll probably visit my parents and also go geocaching.

2.  My last vacation was  for Christmas but if we count going somewhere, it was to Berlin with my boyfriend. One of the places we went were Berlin Zoo.

3.  My next vacation will be   in a few weeks when I've finished examns. I'll be volunterring on Grøn Koncert as I do every summer. Haven't given up the idea of traveling someplace warm also.

4.  My favorite way to relax is  with a book and a cold drink in the sun or blogsurfing.

5.  When vacationing one should always  talk about anticipations. People sometimes seem to forget to communicate what they want to do on their vacation which will lead to frustration. 

6.  When vacationing one should never plan too much. A vacation is about spending time with the ones you love and not about experiences the entire world in a week. - That will only make you even more stressed out than before your vacation. 

7.  The best part about a vacation is  spending time with your family and friends.

Friday blanks

It is friday yet again and that means the weekend is coming up. Something I've been longing for since I've had a pretty crappy week. I'm not good at being ill. Here are this weeks blanks

Let's begin with the Weekly random picture not showed before: The gift I gave my mom for mothers day.

1.   If I could get away somewhere for the weekend I would go to a spa since I have a cold and could really use some sauna treatment    and I would bring my mom or a girlfriend 'cause I need some girl-time.     

2.  Something I often rant about is how I should really be loosing some weight - often while I'm eating a cupcake.

3.  One item I need to have in my fridge at all time is fruit. I love chilled strawberries, blueberries or grapes.

4.  My "life-saving" product is a skin tonic which seems to remove the natural oils from my skin. 

5.  A friend is someone who is not only there when you're sad and 'need them' but also there to share happy memories. I know it's normally said the other way around, but really, who wants a friend you can't laugh with?

6.  If I could write my own blank it would be if this day would have a soundtrack what would it be?

7.  My favorite kind of art is mailart. I make it myself and I really love recieving pretty letters in the mail. You can see some of the things I send and recieve at my snail mail blog: www.swapable.blogspot.com

Running in three directions craving chocolate, letters and fish

1.   What I love most about my home is the bright white walls slowly being filled with pretty postcards and original paintings from friends and thriftstores.

2.  I'm excited because, the boyfriend and I decided to go to Disneyland Paris and I've never been there before.

3.  My preferred method for blowing  off steam when I'm frustrated is to yell. I yell a lot and then I'm happy afterwards. I grew up in a home where people also yelled when they were angry and I know it's controversial but I don't really see it as such a big deal. I always knew what my parents were thinking because they always told me.

4.  Currently I am craving chocolate and letters from the world.

5.  The thing I love most about my mom is she and I are so alike ;-) I hardly have to open my mouth and she knows what I'm thinking. I admire her for being so strong in her life though. I hope I'll be as strong as her when I reach that age.

6.  If I was going to write a book about my life, the title would be "Running in three directions". I'm known for always setting up new projects and starting to work on them before even thinking them through. Somehow they always turn out even beter than anyone thought they would. 

7.  If I were to eat one thing for the rest of eternity it would be fish. I love fish, there are so many variations of it and I would be able to get a hold of it almost everywhere I went.

I hate when people whistle

Friday means it's time for filling in some blanks

1.   My favorite daily responsibility is folding clothes. I think there is a meditational part in this for me.
    
2.  My least favorite daily responsibility is, emptying the dishwater; it's just so trivial. I buy new plates all the time to make sure I have something nice to look at while taking it out ;-) 

3.  My favorite cuisine to eat when going out is any seafood really. I love fish but I hate cooking it myself because it's so smelly and slimy :-p But give me a fancy sushi place or some calimari at a restaurant and I'll love you forever.  

4.  My favorite cuisine to prepare at home is anything that's fairly complicated. I like having to think when I cook. When we were both studying our friends always teased us with our cooking habits. We could walk around in old clothes and never go on a vacation but we ate like royalty every day. Now that my boyfriend works, we even get to go on vacations and buy stuff besides awesome produce :-p    

5.  Andy Warhol said that everyone is famous for 15 minutes. My claim to fame is     that he is absolutely right although I'll probably be adding some extra minutes to his statement due to all the realityshows, talentshows and even all of the blogs where 'normal' people might end up being famous.

6.  If I could have 3 wishes I would wish to finish my education in a swift, get an awesome job and get pregnant with a healthy baby :-)

7.  My biggest pet peeve is aww this is an embarresing question. I like to think of myself like a open and warm person but sometimes the littlest things annoy me; like when I sing a song and my boyfriend start whisteling along. I mean, he doesn't sing along, he whistles! I hate whisteling...

Love in a cottage

Friday means it's time for filling in some blanks, enjoy:

1. My most prized possession is a painting I bought from a friend who paints. It says 'Kærlighed og Kildevand' which is sort of like the English expression "love in a cottage". I can look at it from both the livingroom and kitchen and it makes me so happy.

2.  If I could be one age for the rest of my life, I would want to be  a bit older than I am now. I think one of the things I've learned from life (being only 23) is that things just gets easier the older I get; life is stille pretty complicated though, so I'm not afraid of getting older.

3.  The best way to spend a weekend is  being impulsive hanging out with the people I want to but first deciding on the day what I like to do. Normally I need a schedule for everything so it relaxes me not having too many things planned when we get to the weekend.

4.  My outlook on life is   that regret and that sort of feelings are just a wait of time. You've done what you've done and I think everyone always do their best.

5.  If you want to annoy me, just  don't listen when others talk to you. I think that some people are just waiting for their change to talk when they are not; we have two ears and only one mouth people!

6.  I am completely defenseless when it comes to my boyfriend. It's a good thing he doesn't realize this but he can seriously wrap me around his pinky finger when he smiles.

7.  When dressing for the day one should think about where you are going; clothes actually says a lot about a person. Yesterday my father told me he had helped some people at a meeting with a lawyer (he is in financing) and that they showed up looking like the tramp from Lady and the Tramp; he said that didn't help out the outcome of the meeting. This doesn't mean you should just wear something because you think it's the right thing but my mom told me two basic rules which I still live by: 1) don't wear something with even the slightest hole in it. 2) Don't wear something dirty.

I'm completly blank... but hey, it's friday!

 

 

1.   The best deal I've ever gotten is when I got an Iphone for free 'cause my mom didn't know what to use it for - yay Mom!

2.  If I were hosting a dinner party and could invite people from my fantasy guest list it would include Hyacinth Bucket - she sort of belongs there, Dirch Passer - a Danish comedian who made a lot of movies, theatre shows, and so on (died in 1980), my grandmother (mom's mom) she died when I was four and I've been told I look a lot like her so would like to talk to her. Hm, thinking this over I think I would prefer one-on-one dinners with these people since I'm not sure one dinner has room for that much personality.

3.  Something that inspires me is  looking at people. I travel by train and bus twice a week and there are so many interesting people; I love thinking about what their stories might be.

4.  If I could only choose to eat one flavor of food for the rest of eternity (sweet, salty, spicy, bitter....) I would have to go with   spicy, I think there are many flavours within spicy so that would be the easiest way to be sure I still had something that tastiet different: eg. Mustard vs. chili peppers or Wasabi.

5.  I dream about  having a child.

6.  My weekend will be spent  visiting people. It's my mother in laws birthday tomorrow so we will have a surprise brunch party and go to a nice restaurant in the evening. On sunday my Boyfriend and I will go try out a new running rute and then go visit my parents.

7.  If I could only  watch one movie or TV show for the rest of my life, it would be one with a lot of episodes so I wouldn't have to see too many of them too many times, however I think everything would get old after a while...

Busy friday - taking time to fill in the blanks

 1.   My biggest accomplishment in life thus far is  wow, that's a hard questions to begin with on 07:39 in the morning. Hmm. I think my answer will be a bit fuzzy since my biggest accomplishment must be the changes I've seen, worked on and acknowledged in myself as a human being when switching roles from a child to a grown up.

2.  My favorite place to sit in my house is  in the reclined sofa.

3.  My fashion philosophy is  try to wear something that doesn't make me look fat. Try to wear something that doesn't make me cold. Try to wear something that doesn't make me sweat and then ofcourse something that looks utterly awesome.

4.  Something every girl should have is  a good friend who can help them discuss how they feel and why they feel the way they feel. I think too many of us walk around with issues we haven't shared with anyone.

5.  If you looked in my purse right now you'd find.... my Garfield personal planner, and hopefully my keys since I can't seem to find them anywhere else. other than that it is empty.

6.  My favorite music right now is  Thomas Holm - Byens Bittreste mand; it reminds me of a good friend I have and it really makes me laugh.

7.  My favorite part of my body is  my feet. They are so small, pretty and dolllike :-)

Filling in the blanks - a bit late

1.   The phrase or punctuation I overuse most is  probably "-" and ";" I have always loved ";" because it is sort of a ":" but also sort of a "," but at the same time it's neither of those; thus a wonderful puntuation ;-) The question of which phrase I overuse most is a completly different story - We'll take that another time...

2.  Today I am thankful for the wonderful sunlight we have had all day, I was so longing for the sun :-)

3.  My best friend is  hard to define since I think I can use different people in different situations.

4.  A quirky thing about me is   that I have a weird idea about running around screaming "4" (four - or actually, since I'm Danish and the Danish word for 4 is "fire" that's what I scream - it's not pronunced as the English word 'fire' though, so I don't worry people, they just look at me in an odd way. I do this when I think I need attention - and it works.

5.  This weekend I   visited my parents, got a new Iphone and tomorrow (sunday) will be relaxing.

6.  Something that worries me is  the thought of might not being able to get children. I have no reason to fear this yet but it is such a strong wish...

7.  On my night stand you would find  the book I'm currently reading. The book I'm reading with my fiancé (we read together every night - right now we are reading 'New Moon'), some hair acessories.

1.   I am currently obsessed with  making envelopes

2.  Today I am  down  because,  I am going to dinner at my mom-in-laws house and that often doesn't work out the way I planned it.

3.  The age I am is  23  and the age I feel is so much older; ready to start a family, work and buy a house. My severe impatience also plays a part in this ;-)

 

4.  My favorite place is at the beach or the forest on a warm and dry summer day. I love being close to nature and away from 'life'. 

5.  Something I have been procrastinating is   deciding on subject for my two examns assignments for this spring. I have a deadline of the 1st of March so better get to it!

6.  The last thing I purchased was  a bunch of things from Yves Rocher including handsoap, a blue mascara and an eyeliner :-) I got an amazing bag for free with the order.

7.  The thing I love most about my home is  how the Boyfriend and I are so much better at keeping this new place clean and tidy than the last place we lived. I love that although it might sound weird to everyone else ;-)
