Haven't updated in ages but today I pulled out a few images from my iphone so here is a picturespam for now ;-)
Back of envelope I sent to my penpal Mie just before going on vacation.
The vacation was spent in the snowy but beautiful area called 'Djursland' in Denmark where my parents own a summerhouse.
This is a picture of Kalø Slotsruin
Recieved these items the other day from a swap-bot swap.

Mail time
I haven't had time to update on my sent and recieved mail for a while but today I'm sending you a few picture peeks of in- and outgoing mail:
This lovely notecard set was sent to me by Limner who owns the 'Oh, Write me!' blog as a present since I was the first person ever to comment on her blog a year ago. It is so lovely. Thank you ever so much Limner!
I recieved this awesome letter from my penpal Anicka. Don't you just love the sheet with the woodland character girls? I'm in love with the illustrations!
I sat down and wrote a reply the same day. The actual letter looked like this:
Including printed photographs of the wedding rings the boyfriend and I ordered, the church and the place for the reception.
I have a thing for black envelopes these days. I love how classy they look. I kept it simple with a huge 'cool' sticker and two childish stamps.
A lot of my mailrelated photos are stuck in a camera that died a few weeks ago. When I get the rest of the pictures I'll bombard them in here, so don't worry; more mail to come!
If you're waiting for mail from me, feel free to ask about it in the comment section I will most likely have mailed it out although I haven't showed it here yet.

Mail 2012: Week 3 - sent
This awesome amount of goodies was all tucked in a food themed shoebox and sent out to my swap partner this week. So much yummy and cute stuff!
This letter was sent to my penpal Mie in Denmark. The inside was not that interesting but I decorated the outside with a lot of doodles inspired by the stamp with tree branches. The back of the envelope features a Disney fairy since Mie loves Disney. The fairy is reaching for an envelope with the words 'Skriv snart' (Write soon) on it.

Mail 2012: week 2 - sent
I sent a lot of cool mail last week but had problems with my camera so I didn't get pictures of all of it for you. Let's see what I DID get pictures of:
This box of goodies is a shoebox i painted for a swap-bot swap. My partner was a scrapbooker with a lofe of chocolate, make up/test samples, polka dots, sudoku and regional items. Two things I like to include when people ask for regional items are LEGO figures and chocolate made in Denmark. Sometimes I also send little booklets with stories like The Ugly Duckling or The Little Mermaid which are both by a Danish writer.

Mail 2012: week 2 - recieved
This is the mail I recieved during last week :-)
Blythe doll, lip smackers and frog soap for a profile surprise swap
I love that my pullip doll got a little sister :-)
This awesome bunch of stuff was from another profile surprise swap.
As you can see it's filled with cool items.
I am pretty excited about these pictures. Not just because of the postcards but because I decided to get back into postcrossing.com after not using the site for a year. These four postcards were the first I recieved. (And yes I also sent some but ofcourse I forgot to photograph them).
Then I recieved this weird package with the words 'Costume' on the outside. I was very puzzled about what it could be since I didn't order a costume anywhere but when I opened it, this was inside:
And what has that got to do with a costume you might ask? Well, it is one of the sizers for our custom made wedding bands. Yay! We ordered a bunch of these in different sizes and widths to try out which ones would fit us perfectly before getting the actual rings. Although this was just a sizer it made things a little more real - I'm really getting married!
Check back tomorrow to see what goodies I sent out last week.
